(no subject)

Aaron just left so now it's just me and the cats. I'm not quite alone in that Pete keeps skyping me. Since his orientation doesn't start until 8:30, he's feeling the need to tell me exactly what he is doing now.:D He's in NYC until after lunch then it is back to JC to meet everyone he hasn't met yet and get a feel for the work that needs to be done. They've been looking for someone for this spot since last October, so I imagine they have a bit of a list. I'm going to cop out on dinner and do one of our back up meals from the butcher since I have no idea when he'll be home. 

I booked Zarkana tickets for October... yay! The reviews are fairly mixed, but Aaron has been wanting to see a full Cirque show since Wintuk and I got the tickets at a good price. It's not like we're going to take a 16 year old to Vegas to see "O" after all.  It'll be a good family day event for us. In all of our time here, I've never actually been into Radio City (passed by it about a million times, but never in) so it will be nice to see the venue. 

Well, time to get a start on my first day sans fellas. The rowing machine calls!
