firsttigerFriday is our 32nd anniversary. That’s just bonkers.
I read the book about Ray Dalio. I will say it was an interesting read. It certainly gave me a perspective I needed about a place that broke my spouse and so many other people. Ray is a megalomaniac. His company literally went out of their way to make all employees think like Ray. The harder they tried the worse it got. That it is collapsing the way it is now is no surprise to me. Reading this made me both want to hug Pete constantly and it better made me understand it was a no win situation from the beginning. I am so glad he left there.
Nearly done with the snowflakes for the windows. I likely take far too much time on them but I love the way they look once they are up. I also restarted stitching. I am currently backstitching and then beading a small piece. Probably going to follow up with the train piece I have going. No hurry on Dave’s piece since he will be out of the country for his state department job soon. Oh! And a sourdough is currently in the oven. Its weird how much time I have had since Pete went back to work.:)
