When snack aisle sent out their monthly newsletter with the "blog and we'll send you free stuff" I never really intended to actually write anything. Then, the next newsletter came with links to blogs that had done so and after reading, I said to Pete "these reviews are terrible. I could write something better in about 5 minutes." At that point, he challenged me to do so. I said I didn't particularly feel the need to get free things to which he said "but you like them a lot, right?" to which I had to say answer yes so he said "then do it for that reason. They deserve something more thoughtful than 'I think they are great.'" So I did the write-up, popped off the url to snackaisle.com and got back a note saying they loved it and they'd get me something out in the mail as soon as they were able. The box arrived today and I have to say, I was more than surprised by what they sent... not only did they show they paid attention to what I wrote with a box mostly full of Deep River Snacks chips, but a lot more than I could have guessed they would. There are a couple of other things in there to try to and every last bit of it is dairy-free. Gotta love a company that pays attention.:) | |
