Ugh. Running so short on sleep it isn't funny. It makes me a wee bit cranky. I must have looked like hell yesterday because Aaron suggested that I really didn't need to do the work I'd planned for the day. I did it anyway.

I'm trying to keep the air conditioning to a minimum, but when you have "90, feels like 106" it does tend to make those sorts of ideas fall by the wayside. When I went out to get the mail, I stopped to talk to our mailman and after 5 minutes outdoors, I realized I was sweating a bit more than expected for simply standing.

Pete is doing the NYC Food Bank volunteering in 2 weeks. He asked me to do photos, but when ran into some trouble with the new volunteer coordinator so it looks like it won't happen. Part of me can't help but be glad because that warehouse is *not* air conditioned of course. Plus, I haven't done anything but scenics and florals lately so I'm out of practice with people.:)

ok, that was inane enough for now. Best get to it.

It's been that same kind of hot here lately too and Im dreading the electric bill since the a/c has been used to much more than usual for a summer here. :/ I swear that taking a shower is almost worthless because by the time Im out and dressed, Im one big sheen of sweat again. Blah.

I budgeted for a pretty big number, but I suspect it will exceed even that. Blah.

I don't mind heat as much as I used to, but this is definitely too much!

The more hormonal I get, the more I am annoyed by it. But as cliche as it sounds, it's really not the "heat" I can't stand, it's the humidity. :)

That's like how we say every morning coming out of work when it's in the teens in the winter that "it's not so bad if the wind isn't blowing" LOL

Oh, definitely. People from dry high heat areas scoff at the idea of 90 degree weather, but I say they should give it a try.:) It's just hard to breath, let alone try to get anything done out there!

You're right about that! Potsdam was always around 0 to -10 in February that that seemed downright warm after the wind got to whipping!
