Jul. 29th, 2010 01:06 pmUgh. Running so short on sleep it isn't funny. It makes me a wee bit cranky. I must have looked like hell yesterday because Aaron suggested that I really didn't need to do the work I'd planned for the day. I did it anyway.
I'm trying to keep the air conditioning to a minimum, but when you have "90, feels like 106" it does tend to make those sorts of ideas fall by the wayside. When I went out to get the mail, I stopped to talk to our mailman and after 5 minutes outdoors, I realized I was sweating a bit more than expected for simply standing.
Pete is doing the NYC Food Bank volunteering in 2 weeks. He asked me to do photos, but when ran into some trouble with the new volunteer coordinator so it looks like it won't happen. Part of me can't help but be glad because that warehouse is *not* air conditioned of course. Plus, I haven't done anything but scenics and florals lately so I'm out of practice with people.:)
ok, that was inane enough for now. Best get to it.

Date: 2010-07-30 12:10 am (UTC)You're right about that! Potsdam was always around 0 to -10 in February that that seemed downright warm after the wind got to whipping!
