Oct. 19th, 2023 02:18 pmI have gotten a fair bit done the last few days including listing some of my yogurts pots on ebay. I currently have 3-4 years worth of La Fermiere pots that need to leave the house. I posted 3 auctions so far to meter them out over time and not flood the market. Rare colors are less rare when you put them up all at once.;) A good friend of mine thinks its funny that I manage to make money eating premium yogurt.
Right now we're under 3 weeks until Pete goes back to work so we are doing all of the need to get done things before then. The car is getting new bearings, the fella is rewiring the house, we're getting extract prep done...more than I would like to think about money-wise but I keep telling myself we are not getting into debt over any of it. Our savings is dwindling but not so much it worries me. I just don't like the number going down.
The only thing that keeps me from being 100% right now all goes back to the abuse part of my life. Too many times when something went really well for me, Jill would find a way to ruin it. I know that's exactly what gives me the anxiety but knowing and always stopping it are two different things.::rueful smile:: I am working on realizing that patterns from that long ago aren't normal. Narcissistic parents will screw you up for a very long time. Evil mom stuff aside? Life is resolving itself at least a little bit right now and that does help deal with unpacking all the old trauma over time.
I gotta go make a quick beer bread up to go with dinner. Hope all is well with everyone out there in Dreamwidth land.
