Sam is unusual in that he loves storms. Thunder and lightening don't cause him to scramble for the nearest hiding spot like it does with the girls. I was walking through the mostly dark kitchen and found him watching the rain come down and had to run for the only camera that can deal with this kind of light... the M9. The Nikon would have blown out the window and left Sam in shadow.
