(no subject)

So LJ has decided once again not to bother mailing me comments. The weird part is that it seems to be selective. From some people, I'm getting nothing at all and from others they take a couple of days to come through. I'm trying to check to make sure I'm not missing anyone, but if I do, I'm sorry.

Got an email from Zan this morning and it looks like we're going to meet her in NYC on Sunday for lunch. This is a definitely happiness making. Since we're going to be at Penn, I'm guessing a trip to Ben's is likely the best idea. 

Had to run out for antibiotics for Pete today. He started running a bit of a fever so the surgeon wanted him to start ASAP. In the course of doing so, I had to leave rising bread... something I'm never comfortable doing. It seems that one loaf may have over-proofed but the other is fine. I'm really not quite sure how that happened.:)

Pete seems to be a bit better tonight. The swelling on the left side is nearly non-existent though the right is still not great. The bruising in his chest was a bit alarming, but the oral surgeon said that happens sometimes in a rough extraction. All in all, I think that he's had a bad time of it and the office says to expect bone pain for another 9 days!  I shudder to think what it would be like for him if he hadn't had a good surgeon. He's going to try to get into work at least for a day this week, but mostly is sticking to working from home. 

My poor guy. I hate to see him so miserable.
