It has been a very long time since I added to my stash, since I haven't stitched in so long. During my hiatus, my go to company ended up belonging to a private equity group. As so often happens, they have been ruined in the process. On one hand, I find this sad, on the other I have discovered that there are some really amazing companies elsewhere that still make great pieces. Thus began what became the Eastern Bloc invasion of my stitching stash. In part, it is retail therapy after dad. Pete does well in work and a recent raise made for my going a little bonkers...I doubled the stash. It was enabled by a spouse who has been trying to keep me cheerful in the family aftermath. I regret nothing. I have an epic selection and packages from other places have been a good distraction for me.

New piece is about a quarter done. There is a new lamp to help that. The extra time at night has made for a huge bump in progress. Being busy in that way also keeps me from reading the news too much.
