Pete wants doughnut muffins for his birthday tomorrow, so I baked today.

We also walked in the hundred degree day. It's pretty humid today and Pete commented if I was ok in this, I'd be ok in Hong Kong. I think he was surprised I did well, given my previous issues with heat and humidity. What a difference a hundred plus coming off makes.;)

Easy to make and *really* tasty. I actually posted the recipe with the picture on flickr (click through) or it can be found on the King Arthur Flour site. The spouse requested they be made more like the variety pack one can get doughnuts in thus the powdered sugar and super fine sugar. I've been told the super fine version makes a great vehicle for jam.:)
