Almonds

Medici almonds come but once a year. Given that Pete can't eat most Easter candy, I usually get a box...or two... or in the case of this year, four. One was for Zan though.:) I adore these, but even so I'm very careful about partaking. I've had a grand total of 5 of them since the beginning of March. After Pete decided to organize the last box, I asked him not to eat any more until I got pictures of them.:)

I think they're considered Jordan almonds, just on the basis of being candy coated but I find them a lot more delicate than the typical Jordan. I find a lot of them to be overwhelmingly sweet, but these are a lot lighter than most.
