Mar. 24th, 2010 08:26 amI managed not only to do King Dancer yesterday, but to hold it with my foot being about shoulder height. I'm paying for it a touch today and my back is grumbling slightly. It's stunning to me how much I've toned in the short time it has been since I've added it more seriously to the routine. Even Pete said something about seeing where my body is changing rapidly. I'm really glad that it is doing so, because my biggest complaint with all the losing is my skin not keeping pace with what I've taken off.... I mean, I really hate that. Drives me a little bonkers.
Things are starting to come together for Zan's visit, though it looks like Cirque likely won't happen. Between the location being a pain to get to and the fact that we're already in a situation where we wouldn't all be able to sit together, we're likely scrapping it for this time. That's ok, there will still be *plenty* to do. I'm watching IWM to see what tasting will be held that weekend, since that would make a nice alternative.
Back on track with my stitching. I added a couple more things to the stash, too, including Birch Point. I've always regretted giving it away, mostly due to who we gave it to. The problem was finding it for a decent price, which I finally managed to do. As I said to Pete, it will be nice to have a good variety of things to choose from when I kick off the next project. Though I'm likely going to do the Parisian Market piece first, since I think it would make a nice companion piece for the Italian Bistro I'm currently working on.
Well, I should go exercise now. The rowing machine calls!
