I believe I've made the statement before that peanut butter based recipes seem almost criminally easy. This one is no exception and despite the fact I put it in my baking gallery, there's no baking involved.:)

3/4 c. brown sugar
1 lb confectioners sugar
1 stick butter
2 c. smooth peanut butter

Beat butter and peanut butter together.
Add brown sugar and confectioners sugar slowly.
Press in 9 x13 inch pan

Top with melted-
1 pkg. Chocolate chips
1 Tbs. butter

It will work with margarine. You think I'd make a giant pan of sugar that only Aaron can eat?;)

When you mix the ingredients together, they will seem *very* dry. To the point you'll probably wonder if I gave you the right proportions. Just press it down with wax paper and it will be fine.:)

Also, the way this is done, I find that the chocolate wants to seize. Work quickly to spread it.

Hehe. Sorry about that.:)

Sadly, I haven't had nearly enough time to pick up the stitching lately. I keep telling the spouse that every day I have the *intention* of putting time in, but then something distracts me.

Been thinking about ya' lots. Hoping things are as well as can be given the circumstances.::hug::
