(no subject)

After a very expensive home visit where CC made the vet team fear for their lives (“I don’t think we can get a urine sample from her but I can provide one now.”) Sam is still with us. With a loooooooot of drugs involved. At the moment, he’s perkier than he has been in a couple of weeks. His kidneys are fine but he was severely dehydrated. The vet doesn’t know if it will work but wants to make sure we do everything we can. He has drifted off to sleep in his tube which is great because he’s been restless from the pain he was experiencing and not sleeping at all well. It was also a very expensive visit and I grateful we can do this kind of try.

Date night is out tonight. I haven’t been sleeping due to Sam stress. Going out really is not something my fatigued self can handle. I am vastly relieved to still have Sam but I know since he is 17, we definitely have limited time. So I will take what I can.

I don’t even have the brainpower to talk flowers. Whipped.
