Aaron had a second interview and was supposed to hear yes or no by yesterday. Since he hasn’t heard anything I am guessing it means a no, but he is going to email the hiring manager to get an answer. I have my fingers crossed for him.
On the fence front…oh my! The dog noise has dropped immensely with it in place. Not just in a they don’t see us kind of way but when they do bark we hear them a lot less. It also has led to people bringing their dogs in more quickly when they do start to wind
up on the barking. I would guess there must be at least a little echo back now. Ah well.
Hoping everyone is well where they are. Life is more than a little crazed out there right now.

I hear so many job seekers who have put in dozens if not more resumes and applications and never even getting an interview and barely any rejection letters or acknowledgements at all. But at the same time we hear "eveyone needs help". I can't imagine applying for a job at my age, especially in nursing. In all my years, I have maybe seen someone over 50 get hired a handful of times and I'm well beyond that. No hospital would want to invest in someone so close to actual legal retirement age. I honestly don't know why I keep renewing my license since I just dont think it would get me anywhere.
