If we're FB friends, you've already seen this first part:

Starting weight (May 2002 est): 280
Current weight: 141
Starting BMI: 48.1
Current BMI: 24.2
Starting size in clothing: 22/24
Current size: 4

At this point, "no more than" number is 135 but also *very* content to be as is.

I'm pretty happy to be where I am. I think it's rather interesting to find that most people who know me have me pegged at between 120-130 for my weight and I attribute this to the fact that I'm a muscular gal. Well, 60+ miles a week of rowing will do that.

Coming out of my funk a bit. Having time with family is a big part of this for me. There was an uneasy moment last week after the trial Pete was a juror for ended and we had fight. It's always so unusual for us to argue and once we had calmed down and said our sorrys, we both came to the conclusion that we were very frayed after everything that had been happening. Since that point, Pete has found out there will be hires in his department, so that's good and he got a great review for this year. We're making time for each other and that is a definite help.

Thanksgiving went well and we had a lovely meal together, done in our usual KISS fashion. Today has been avoidance of going out to the big places for shopping and next we will be attempting a tree. We've decided to put the tree up and leave it for a day before attempting decor. That way, if Sam is a problem, it's not a huge deal to take it back down. Hopefully he will behave and we can have our tree.:)

Good heavens, how tall are you? I wore a 22/24 at 220 pounds or so! And 141 on me might be a 10.

I'm 5' 4". I've always been deceptive in the weight/size realm... no one ever thinks I weigh what I do, even when I was at my highest weight. I've always been active and have a lot of muscle. When I got down to 160, my best friend was wearing the same size clothing at 125 as I was.:)

I would have guessed a much lower weight as well, considering even when I was less than 120 I still was a size 8. :O Maybe its just different proportions?

Part of it is vanity sizing, I think. The last time I was this weight, I was an 8. A lot of it does have to do with the whole fat vs. muscle thing. I've always been a very active person, no matter my weight I've always looked smaller than I actually am. Lastly, I'm a bit on the busty side. I'm definitely not cramming myself into clothing... the last shot I posted of myself was me in size 4 jeans and an extra small shirt... which is why I never buy the whole "vanity sizing doesn't exist"thing.:)
