I continue to kick butt at pachinko with only the sketchiest knowledge of how I am doing so. Pete has already decided that in addition to the volume knob he's going to install, he wants it to have a bigger hopper for the balls. An extra 500 have been ordered, with the thought that's the *minimum* we need in addition to the 450 we have.
Poor Thing 2 is not doing well. It looks like this particular Roomba made it 14 months, and to me that's fine. It did a great job at keeping the cat hair at bay 5 days a week in that time and not having to vacuum every day is well worth it. It's still doing ok on bare floors, so it will be relegated to the bonus room once I buy something to replace it. I'm still debating with myself about which model to get.
Things are still going well, to the point that the paranoid abused child in me wonders when the bad thing will happen. I'm trying not to let those sorts of thoughts take over though. I'm trying very hard to break those patterns and I think I'm doing a fair job at it.
If anyone had been listening in this morning as Pete and I lingered over getting up, they would have known for certain how odd we are. At one point, I was making up something about the rare bear/moose pairing and how the reason you don't see it very often is that it ends up playing out a lot like Romeo and Juliet.

I would very much like to not have to vacuum everyday.
We have 5 cats here.

I would go as far as to say that I think it really makes a difference in the air quality to have them running like I do.

Adam and I have an ongoing argument over which is awesomer: Moose or Elephants. He votes Moose. I vote Elephants.
