(no subject)

I'm digging my way back to being current. It started with the being sick over the holiday and then there was online drama and a work-stressed spouse... well, it adds up and two weeks went by. In that time, I see someone dropped me. Ah well, these things happen.

My holiday was amazing. It wasn't about the presents though there were some terrific ones. It's more having time with my guys and seeing friends. Up until the food poisoning happened, the Potsdam trip was great. I still find it odd to see Snell Hall closed. It's such a nifty building and we spent so much time there all those years ago. It's great they have the campus all in the same general area now, but how can you build character if you don't walk back to the dorms in -40 weather?;)

I'm also behind on posting any WIP, but given I really haven't stitched for most of this time (just started up again yesterday) there weren't any major changes to document. I should have another up on Sunday.

Well, I worked really hard this week and I'm going to take a little down time and watch "Watchmen" today. I had really meant to re-read it before this since it's been quite a while, but again... not a lot of time lately.

I was wondering where you've been. :)

So glad to hear your holidays were great (yeah!), but very sorry to hear about the food poisoning. Sucky sucky! :(

Falling further and further behind and trying not to feel guilty about it.:) I've just had such limited time for the computer, that I'm absurdly behind on photo processing too.

I think that the worst part of the whole food poisoning thing was being away from home while sick. I hope that never happens again!

I'm still trying to read back but don't know how successful I'll be. Hope your holiday was wonderful and things are good for you and T!

As you know, I lost two during the political thing in my journal, but I recently joined a few new communities, and already I've had 5 more join up with me. These things come and go so much that I don't really take notice --except in that one case of a RL friend.

I'm so glad you had a terrific holiday, though I would have wished you not go through the food poisoning.

You stitch faster than anyone else I've seen, btw. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

Watchmen was a big disappointment for me -- in fact, I fell asleep about 15 minutes into it, and subsequent attempts at re-viewing did not fare much better. But, otoh, I'd never read the comic or graphic novel or whatever the hell it was, so the universe was completely unknown to me. But even the people who have read the material seem to be a bit split on the movie. Let me know what you think.

I'm lucky enough to have some really good hand eye coordination. When I got scroll bars and a stand, having both hands free to work made things really fast for me.:)

I ended up not watching Watchmen due to the fact I decided to do about a million things on my do nothing day. I'll have to try again next week.

Hoping your puppy trip went well!

Online always falls by the wayside when things get hectic, especially at this time of year! I at least try to read from my phone, but commenting that way is a mild pain as I am verbose.:D
