It's been a while since the Feline Brigade has been bathed, so I decided that today I was going to give baths to the girls and tomorrow Sam was slated for a wash. While I was bathing Maia, she did her usual howl at the top of her lungs routine. As I was rinsing her, I saw movement from the corner of my eye and realized that Sam had broken in to the bathroom to see why she was so upset. He peered into the tub, wide-eyed while she continued to howl. After a moment, he jumped up and began to pace the edge of the tub, trying to figure out how to get to her. Since the tub has a narrower edge than the one in the master bath, he misjudged a jump and ended up falling into the tub. So much for waiting until tomorrow to bathe him! I guess I shouldn't be too surprised he tried to rescue his beloved Maia since he tries to save me from the shower every day. My gallant little Sam.:)
