Sam's Owie

Being a big male cat, Sam at times can be a bully. The girls tend to let him do so most of the time, but every once in a while he does push them too far. This morning he is sporting a pair of scratches very close to his eyes. I'm fairly certain it was Sprite that did this to him, since she tends to box his ears with both paws when she's annoyed with him whereas Maia is a one paw defense kind of gal.

These scratches are just the sort of thing I keep a styptic pencil around for! He's been treated and a very humbled Sam is lying next to me, wanting cuddles.
