Many thanks to the people who sent hugs and sympathy on the last post. They are much appreciated.

As of this morning, the breathing tube hadn't been removed. It turns out there is a lot of paperwork involved in the whole matter. They did stop sedating him and have now got him only on pain meds. Even after they stopped sedating him, he hasn't opened his eyes. D said this morning that 7 major organs are failing and they are certain when they remove the tube it won't be long.

Right now, I'm just brooding about D. Those two were so very in love and I can't imagine what she must be going through.
